One of the primary internet etiquettes is that while sending emails to people, we should try to state what we have to say in brief. A lot of people keep on writing pages and pages and the receiver does not even understand what exactly the sender wants to emphasize and this leads to miscommunication between the sender and the receiver. Thus, emails should be brief and to the point.
Another thing that has become a problem for internet users is that people do not state much in the subject line and this leaves the receiver wondering as to what exactly the email is all about. According to internet etiquettes, the subject line should be descriptive so that receiver has some idea as to what exactly the email is all about, before he opens that email to read.
While sending email, people send the same mail to a number of people and add the addresses of all of them in the ‘to’ column, this way the email addresses of people reach the receivers who may misuse the email addresses. So, as per the internet etiquettes, we should not expose the email addresses of people to every one.
The solution to this problem is that rather than adding the addresses of people in the ‘to’ column, we can add them in ‘bcc’ column, in this way nobody would be able to see one another’s email addresses.
