Internet etiquette: Be a watchdog first.

Online revolution has brought us phenomenal growth rate. The speed with which we can connect to others has started challenging its authenticity level now. The privacy factor is becoming more and more crucial and sometimes critical given the kind of online theft cases have come to the light. The best technique is to follow certain guidelines in the same manner when we meet people in the real world. Internet platform is no different or any exception to it. It goes without saying that one must not disclose his or her identity and fall victim to a wrong impression. There is no point in putting the blame on others afterwards. Blogging and chatting are different online tools used to create social presence and find people with similar interest and choices. There is a whole new world to it. There is immense potential in it.

Internet etiquette is about sharing things that we find appropriate to share and putting an end to conversation when it is supposed to end. Our privacy is in our own hands. Nobody can make you fall for a situation or deceive unless you want to be. The rest is history that online crime activities are increasing and people do not feel safe about it. The good part is that it has made us stay cautious and agile on our feet. Internet community or market place is an open field and everybody is free to make the choices. It is purely our decision whom to trust and not. Internet etiquette is meant to make online presence of your personal and professional accounts safer and intact. We can still keep on doing things the way it was done earlier but only with a sense of greater responsibility and accountability. Nobody can rob us of something that he was never told or informed about.
